Chanakya and Acharya Ajay discussing divisive politics

Acharya Ajay, a childhood friend of Chanakya, narrates the situation in Pataliputra (capital of Magadha Empire). He narrates how the administrators exploit the divisions in the society. How difference in the means and ends in life causes social disharmony and ultimately the fall from grace. There is also mention of something similar to brain drain (although for reason different from today’s). I felt these issues are relevant even in today’s world, if understood the right way. there is not too much of difference in present India in comparison to what was happening in patliputra. i really regret the fact that nowadays we dun get to see such serials with profound vision and research. I would really like Doordarshan or any of the Commercial channels to resurrect these lost treasures. And i’m also sure that it will also be a commercially fruitful venture.
